When you pick up a newspaper, read an article in a magazine or watch the evening news; have you ever thought of where the stories came from or who wrote them? Behind every good story is a good journalist. Being a reporter is more than just meeting a deadline. They have difficult tasks, odd hours, uncertain salary, education and personal characteristics and requirements. Journalism is hard work and something I think I would be interested in.
There are many different aspects to journalism. A reporter will spend their day gathering information on what they're researching or follow up on tips("Journalism"). Besides researching, they write for publication and do investigations. Journalists will sometimes work long hours, it will depend on the story or deadline. They may work weeknights and weekends; whatever it takes to get the story done...
