Alex Beltran Dieciseis de Septiembre Many people around the world celebrate different holidays. Holidays that have to do with their cultures and customs. People often celebrate certain holidays because they have gotten used to celebrating them. Dieciseis de Septiembre is the day when Mexico took its independence and defeated Spain in battle. The best Mexican holiday is seen on Dieciseis de Septiembre. Miguel Hidalgo and Mr. Costilla, the first leaders of the Mexican revolt against Spanish rule, are known as the fathers of Mexican Independence; abandoning academic life in the early 1970’s, Hidalgo served as the pastor of several central Mexican parishes. he made most of these parishes into centers of cultural life and Independence economy accomplished, although Spanish law prohibited economic activity that competed with industry in Spain.
