In the movie, Twelve Angry Men, a jury must decide if a young Spanish- American man is guilty or not guilty of killing his father. During the trial, much evidence is given against the young man and it seems impossible for the defense to win the case. Early in the film the vote is 11-1 in favor of guilty but the final vote is 12-0 in favor of not guilty. Juror number eight persuades the rest of the jurors to vote not guilty. One by one each juror stands up for himself and chooses to vote not guilty. Juror number eight, played by Henry Fonda, votes not guilty throughout the movie. The other jurors give him tremendous pressure about his decision but he sticks to his opinion. The jurors ask him why he voted the way he did and he said that he does not want to send a kid to die without talking about it first. This shows that he has high moral standards. Juror number eight also had very strong self esteem and character.
