1. A biogeochemical cycle is a cyclic path that involves both biological and chemical processes that occur in organisms. The primary reservoirs for the chemicals in these cycles are the atmosphere, water and rocks. There is a greater amount of these life-sustaining chemicals in these reservoirs than in the whole of the earths living organisms.
