Morality is defined as the beliefs and values that one should have in his society or state. In Machiavelli’s profound work entitled The Prince is believed that a ruler should avoid values when ruling state, meaning he should not be nice to his people and that he should make decisions based on the people’s best interest.
This essay seeks to discuss the views of Machiavelli and what he believed about the ruling of a country or state, whether he believed that having morality in a kingdom was best. Also I will look at how Thomas Hobbes saw morality and how his view of morality differed from that of Machiavelli if at all. ...
