	Crash, smash, clank!! Who could love a man with actions such as these? Petruchio is a character in the play, The Taming of the Shrew. The play is a comedy written by Shakespeare and is about people wanting to wed his two daughters. The character Petruchio wants to marry Katherine, one of the daughters. Petruchio is a genuine pig, a jerk, and a very shallow person. First, Petruchio is a genuine pig. When he and Kate are married and the get back to his house, he says the food is burnt and goes off on a rampage. He throws things, he over turns furniture, he yells, he hits people, and in the end, he does not even let Kate eat. When they go to his room he tries to use her in an inappropriate manner.
