At 8:45 a.m. on September 11, 2001 the U.S. became the victim of a very serious act of terrorism. This left us in a state of shock, turmoil, disbelief, grief, sorrow, and bad economic standing. The times to come would be hard for the United States of America, but we didn't take it lying down. Although our economy suffered, the airlines suffered and our people suffered because the many lost lives, we made it through the storm. Our attackers thought that they would destroy us but we still proved to be the strongest nation even at our worse and we are still standing strong.
