In this paper for our first simulation I will become Congressman Brad Carson from western Oklahoma. I will explain many different points in this paper, such as the demographic profile of my district, demographic characteristics of myself, my most recent election, and my policy priorities.
I will start out with the basics about myself. I was born on March 11, 1967 in Winslow, Arizona, but I was raised and currently reside in Claremore, Oklahoma. In 1998 I was married to my wife Julie and currently have no children. I received my bachelor degree in history from Butler University in 1989, my masters in politics, philosophy, and economics from Oxford University in 1991 and in 1994 I graduated from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law. Before my congressional career I was a prominent lawyer. In recognition of my work with low-income Oklahomans, my firm was awarded the 1996 Exceptional Contribution to Legal Services by Legal Services of Eastern Oklahoma. I was also a special assistant to the Secretary of Defense for special projects from 1997 to 1998. I am also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and First Baptist Church of Claremore...
