My Writing Process

At times we've all thought to ourselves, "Is my writing process something that really works for me?" In my case I've actually had time to sit down and reflect upon it, something that people do very rarely. I found myself realizing that my writing process is actually unique.
To start a paper I need to have an idea of what I'm going to write about and sometimes it really speeds things up when I know what the teacher wants me to write about. Once I have a topic, I give my self time and carry around a tape recorder with me. This way I can record all of my ideas as they come to me, even if I'm driving. Sometimes when I'm tired of sitting at my computer or even of just thinking, I go out with friends to hang out and get my mind off the task at hand, that's when I get my best ideas. I could be with 4 or 5 friends at a theme park or with a huge group at a party and all of the sudden I get one of the best ideas I've thought of all day or even all week(It probably happens because I'm talking to so many people that my mind doesn't get tired of thinking about one thing). There have also been other times were I carry around a note pad in my car incase of an "emergency idea."
After having most of the ideas I could need, I sit down at my computer, listen to music, and let my mind roam freely...
