Yesterday, After school I was getting ready for basketball practice and while I was getting ready it took me back to last years basketball season.Last year our goal was to win the big 8 conference championship and that is what we was going to do. We had to practice hard but it would be worth it at the end of the year when we win the big 8 conference championship game.We had to practice long and hard if we was going to do it though and that’s what we had to do so we done it.We went through full court press,half court press,and driblen .Then our first game came up we was playing Pelham at Pelham.We game to the game ready to play but we didn’t do as well as we should have but we won.Our next game was north we didn’t do good at all in that game but we will won.Then the next week we had 2 games that we won.We knew we had to step it up if we wanted that big 8 trophy so we did.Then came the game we was waiting on Monteagle .They came to our gym and they got embarrassed Jake Sartain hit 8 3’s,Zeke it 5,and Derek it 4.I played good defense and I got a lot of rebounds.We ended up beaten Monteagle by 53.Then the game that impressed every one was the swiss game at swiss.We all played good they couldn’t break our press.We played good all around I had 16 rebounds with 12 points.After the game Coach Johnson told us that is what its goin to take to win the Big 8 conference.Well we went to the TNT state tournament we won the first game just barley though but we still won it.We was in the final four we was ready to play some ball but no 1 came out ready to play besides me and Derek.We got beat by 3 it was the worst feeling ever.We was all in the locker room crien because we knew if we would have came out ready to play ball we would have won but we didn’t and that is what happens you get beat .After the game they called out the awards for all state .I got award that made me feel a little better but not much .On the way home we all road the bus home and of course we was all crien .
