The Communication Generation
Every generation is known for something. In the 1920's, known as the Jazz Age, there were the Flappers- women who did not follow normal typical behavior. Also, people born between 1946 through 1964 are known as The Baby Boomers because there were so many babies born during a short period of time. Then there is Generation Y, born between1965 and 1983 who are so close to my generation that they could be one of my siblings. Finally there is today's youth; too young to officially establish a name for ourselves therefore we are unofficially described as the Communication Generation.
We are a generation that is use to getting in touch with someone whenever we need to. I know that without my cell phone I am lost. Sometimes it seems as though it is my life. If I can not find it, then I am tearing the house up-especially if I am expecting a call. However, there are those very rare times that I do not have my phone with me...
