Once upon a time, there lived two Syracuse University track runners, name Pat and Jon. They were both evenly matched in strength and in stamina, so it was impossible to tell who was the strongest in practice. But, whenever a track meet came to shine, it was always Pat who managed to finish ahead of Jon. The failed attempts to beat Pat on the track dumbfounded Jon, he neede4d to know Pat's secret to success. Pat's secret to finishing first can be seen as "It's the little that separates the winner from everyone else."
Pat's road to success was no coincidence, it was "doing the little things" that put Pat on the podium above everybody else. Unnoticed by Jon, every practice Pat not only focused his efforts on the track but off it as well. Pat concentrated on his stretching which proved vital in increasing his stride length. When looking at the equation "stride length X stride frequency = speed" then by increasing the stride length would result in an increase of speed. So from doing only that little extra bit of stretching already helped Pat to become the better runner...
