Antigone is a Greek tragedy written, by Sophocles in 442 B.C.E. The two main characters are Antigone and Creon. Both are tragic figures. The roles of antagonist and protagonist can be substituted between the two characters.
Antigone is Creon's niece. Her Father, Oedipus, married his own mother and had children. Upon Oedipus' death his sons, Polynices and Eteocles, kill each other in a dispute over the throne. Creon is Oedipus' brother-in-law...
