The beginning of summer and winter
The great chief, the ruler of all tribes in what today is called America. They lived in an area where maize and wild game was more the abundant for their tribe and many more. One day the Chief and his wife from the heavens had a daughter which they wanted nothing but the best for her. As the time started to count down till the day their daughter would need to wed, the wife called upon the heavens to send down two suitable men; which were to travel far distances to the tribes and the first one to make it would marry their daughter. One day a man arrived and approached the chief while out in the sunrise praying to the gods, the man said "I am here to take you daughter's hand in marriage." The chief said follow me, and once they got back to the tribe they introduced the two of them. The man did nothing but anger the tribe and brought forth long cold days and nights, causing the crops to die out and the game to move on. The tribe was now faced with finding cacti and burning of the needles to consume the leaves. The mother once again called the god's and asked who the man that had arrived was. Around a week later she had a dream she pictured the spirit of winter which resembled the man...
