"Golden Shadows Old West Museum" Review
Golden Shadows Old West Museum, the play written by Larry L. King, shows the destruction upon a person when our culture treasures the easy way out. The moral and personal values of the characters are called into question, as did mine. This results in values being the major theme of this play, in which many conflicts arise illustrating how these principles are shaken.
The first initial conflict that emerges from the play, are the personal guilt's the reader must undergo. This not only occurs after one reads the play, but during the reading as well. The comprehension of guilt strikes the reader and they may find themselves reflecting back on their lives. Possibly questioning if they too have ever treated their elders similar to those in the play? Desertion, selfishness, or just blatantly overlooking them is called into question. It seemed as though the characters believed their life had become so supreme, that they disregarded those that had helped them the most...
