Why the increase in random violence within youth
Violence among children is disturbing ( Hammond, 1998), but what is more disturbing is the steady increase of these cases in our society nowadays. Now more than ever we hear in the news, read in papers and see thru our everyday living how the tendencies in youth violence are more and more visible (Benson, 1993). ... This report is going to gather some of the views in regards to the why of the increase in random violence within our youth . ... As per Benson in recent report there are alarming numbers of kids as young as sixth grade that have been involved in at least one act of violence ranging from hit or beat up someone, vandalism, group fighting where the person needs bandages or a doctor or have used a weapon to get something from another person (1998).
