What you should know about Independence
What is independence? By definition, independence is the state or quality of being independent; freedom from dependence; exemption from reliance on, or control by, others; self-subsistence or maintenance; direction of one's own affairs without interference; freedom from control or influence of another or others. What this means in a country, or island like Cuba is that we have the right to govern ourselves and we are the owners of our destiny. Independence allows Cuba to interact freely with the rest of the world, not only socially, but by making international treaties or by allowing us to expand foreign investment. By becoming independent, present dependant economy will turn into a productive and sustainable economic model. Sovereignty will provide us to stimulate our national industry, agriculture and commerce. Not only that, but what pride can you take of where you are living with if you don't believe we, Cuba can stand by ourselves?
The Cuban independent party proposes many ideas new and old to improve the life or our people. The industry will expand internationally which would positively affect our economy. Under independence, Cuba will have the chance to emit their own national currency...
