#1: How many more years do you think you'll be able to fill up your car with gas? 100, 200 years?
#2: What if we said only 60?
#3: Although you may think fuel shortages will only affect future generations. We'll probably run out of fuel in our lifetimes.
#4: We use about 2.6 million tons of it each year in the US.
#2: At that rate we only have about 65 years of fuel remaining.
#1: Demand is increasing slightly and production is dropping slightly every year
#3: And here lays the problem
#2: The US uses about 25% of the world's oil supply
#4: But the US only makes a very small amount of the world's oil supply.
#3: If the US had to run off it's own oil supply...
