Should tanning salons be banned?
Into: Picture yourself outside on a hot summer day. Your purpose is to get the worlds best tan because you have not seen the sun in weeks and are starting to look like a vampire. A couple hours later and you are burnt to a crisp. Since you got sunburn, it may cause your skin to peel, which will inevitably increase your chance of getting skin cancer. Not what you had in mind for a nice day in the hot sun, right?
The tanning salon was invented in the 1970s. However, it did not become popular in the United States until the 1980s.
Since outdoor tanning is not predictable because variables like time of day, cloud cover, and closeness to the equator change the tanning salon is a safe, consistent substitute for the ever-changing outdoors. They supply a healthy amount of UV rays...
