Abstract. . This study is performed to compare and determine the effectiveness of supervised walking in the treatment of AS. The study tested AS patients participated in supervised walking program will reduce impairment associated with AS or not.
50 AS patients will be randomly assigned into experimental group and equivalent control group. The intensive walking program will be delivered to the experimental group patients for 12 weeks under the supervision of physical therapist. The control group will receive 12 week routine medical care. The AIMS will be evaluated in a quasi-experimental design based on comparisons between an intervention group and a matched control group.
