The Human Body is a complex organism, full of unique and sometimes unnerving organic materials. When not fully understood, the Human Body is nothing more than another animal that happens to think and act according to reason, as oppose to instinct. What is even more extraordinary is that it is made up of microscopic living cells, each independent, yet reliant on others. However, after taking the time to understand its workings and overall functionality, the Body becomes something more: it is a life, which needs basic necessities, such as food, water, companionship, and love. To understand this concept, one must be able to cherish life and all that comes along with it. One must be able to admire the workings of the human body, as well as exhibit the attitude, proper conduct, and responsibility of caring for other precious lives. If it is anyone who can identify with the preceding, it is a doctor of medicine. It is my hope and dream to one day be among those who do.
