My whole life people; including teachers, parents, and friends, had told me I needed to read. Something about "If you don't read you won't succeed." They tried getting me to read anything from horror to sci-fi and romance to history. No matter what they tossed at me it wouldn't peak an interest in me. I went through high school only reading what I was required, if that.
I loved being out of school, it had almost been one year and I hadn't had to think. I got to hang out all the time, watch movies, listen to music, and work for money. It was great, one night someone suggested watching a Harry Potter movie, I laughed at the idea. The whole obsession with this craze didn't make any sense to me, but reluctantly I tried it.
