September 11, 2004
At roughly 8.00 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2004, I was traveling south on Mill Road. I myself, with two other persons in my truck was towing my landscape trailer hauling brush and debris to my friend's uncle's dump site in New Haven. As I proceeded on Mill Road, I had noticed a large white truck in my side mirrors following in an unsafe distance to my trailer. It was hard for me to see beyond my trailer to identify if it was really a truck due to the fact that the operator was so close. Roughly one hundred yards passed Katie Lane, I noticed that the truck had cut his wheel abruptly entering the north lane of Mill Road. At that moment, I saw the branch, which appeared to be resting, not hit, in the south lane of Mill Road. As I began to slow down, I realized that the truck that had previously been following to close approached me flashing the truck's high beams. I had pulled over in front of Mill Road School and the victim pulled up on the left side of my truck, blocking traffic on both sides of the street. At this point, he rolled down his window and began cursing my passengers and I up and down...
