Marriage These Days
"Till death do us part," is a famous quote that people say during a traditional wedding ceremony. It should sound more like "till you do something wrong". I'm a product of an interracial marriage that went bad. My mother is Korean and my father is Black, both rose in poverty. I can't tell you exactly how they met. What I do know is that my father was stationed in Korea for a couple of years and I guess that's when he ran into my mother. Next thing you know she was pregnant with me and they got married. From what I can remember, my parents didn't get along very well. It was after twenty years of torture when they decided to get a divorce. I believe it was me that kept them together so long...
