Newton’s Laws of motion describe the way things in the world work. There are many different ways that these laws apply to the everyday lives you and I. In this paper I will describe each of Newton’s Laws and I will give example of how to apply them to every day life. Newton’s First Law is Inertia. This law states that an object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. If at rest, they will continue in this same state of rest. If in motion with an eastward velocity of 5 m/s, they will continue in this same state of motion (5 m/s, East).
