Although there are many forms of knowing, the most significant would be language, as it is the only way of expressing feelings, thoughts and also be able to communicate.
Language can be considered one of the most important "tools" of communication in the world. In this essay, I shall make a critical analysis about the statement above, discussing its points for and against. With this I should be able to reach a fair conclusion. I will examine the functions of language and how can it be a limit for my knowledge and world. But to understand this statement, first, we have to know what language is. The fairest statements I found about language were: "The sum of human wisdom is not contained in any one language, and no single language is CAPABLE of expressing all forms and degrees of human comprehension 1." "A child, when it begins to speak, learns what it is that it knows.2" These two definitions are rather complicated and express two different points of view.
