This is an interesting point of view about the ideas and situations that appear when a multiracial interaction takes place. I don't know exactly "what does be a Canadian mean", because I come from different latitude, but I'm sure it's related with pride and love, as for us our nations are.
The problem could be a semantic one. It's true that as Canadian or foreigner we have a lot of differences, but if we change the window where our vision is going through, and we take the human one, we must find many similarities, and the little ranks where we don't agreed, should be compared with the differences between neighbors, you can hope that the individual who lives next to your home will be exactly as you are, no matter how near is he to you. Even if he tries to imitate you to get an equality, he will be always different because of the simple fact that he's pretending and you are being your self.
Since I have been here, the people show themselves as interesting and nice. That's awesome, because I love where I come from, and talking about it always makes me happy.
It's human nature to be attracted to the unknown. As unusual people, we are an attention point for the Canadian population. New knowledge makes people think, and ideas have always inherent possibilities, between being right, wrong or insignificants...
