The United States is a great nation and has grown into a beautiful country, but even now, it has several flaws. The good features of this country out weights the bad, but the bad cannot be ignored. It is privileges to live in a country where the middle class citizen has a good life, where society fights for equality, and where citizens can pursue any career they choose under the free enterprise system. Nevertheless, as a growing country problems such as the poverty, discrimination, and pollution of the air are some of the flaws that the United States face today.
America provides a surprisingly good life for the ordinary citizen. Rich people live well everywhere, but what distinguishes the United States from the other countries is that it provides a strikingly high standard of living for the "common man." We now live in a country where construction workers regularly pay $4 for a nonfat latte, where house cleaners drive nice cars, and where plumbers take their families on vacation to Europe. Newcomers to the United States are surprised by the services enjoyed by "poor" people in this country. When people of other countries see that the poorest Americans have television sets, microwave ovens, and cars, they want to successfully try to move to the United States.
Like most countries, poverty is a terrible element of the United States...
