Crack , crackle , crack . Larry sat on the dirt filled log and watched as the fire in the pit devoured the leaves that he fed it. The nights of Larry's life were no more special than your average Canadian traveler. In his childhood, Larry had been brutally beaten by his father. His father was either never there or always beating him. When Larry was sixteen he ran away from home, bringing only a jacket, sleeping bag, food, pots, pans and matches.
He wandered through the Canadian Rockies for most of his life. Seeing as this was the late 90's, Larry wasn't your most civilized Canadian as he did not finish school. That night just like every other night, Larry had nightmares of his childhood...
