Introduction
The Jiffy Wiffy Company is taking off after the exiting of Kellogg from the market and the introduction of Powertarts. The increase in sales is requiring additional production facilities to fulfill demand. The Jiffy Wiffy Co. has determined two options for production. The first is to construct a single plant to fulfill demand of the three new cities, and the second is to construct three separate facilities, one for each new market. As a consultant for Jiffy Wiffy, I will attempt to determine the costs of firm to analyze the best option for the company. Additionally, I will examine profits for these two scenarios at sales price of $2.00 for both current market demand and future plant capacity.
