A Passage to India
Throughout the many novels that I have read over the course of four years I have found that many times I am most interested in books that allow me to get involved. If we have an idea of the characters personality traits or an image of the scenery we are able to paint a picture in our heads of either likeness or disdain. When writing about A Passage to India, I agree with Anna Quindlen when she said "the books that have spoken to me most powerfully are the ones that made me feel as if they let me in." During the course of the novel the descriptions of characters and scenery allowed me to feel as if I was in India, disliking the British and walking through narrow caves. .
