I believe that immigrants come to America to get on welfare. More than one third of the immigrants in this country are receiving welfare benefits. "They come here because they are poor." (Federation for American Immigration Reform, 2002). Look at Mexico where there is no such thing as welfare. When Mexican citizens have no money, no one is going to do anything about it. When they heat that you can get money if you're poor, that you can actually get paid for being poor, that sounds pretty good. So they come.
