Jamaican Economy Needs Improvement

Jamaica needs a stable domestic economy and open access to export markets if they must realize this in order to renew economic growth. Right now the Jamaican economy is based solely on imports, bringing in $3.91 billion from the US. It is very important to stabilize their economy and diversify their exports. There are ways to progress in their economic society just that many problems take time to come back or start over from. Which brings to the question, what aspect of Jamaica's economy needs more time spent on to between the two countries that will end up with both coming out ahead than before?
Although it does have bauxite as a productive resource, Jamaica, both politically and economically, has almost always been a nation in turmoil. The economy has changed radically since the 1940's. In the 1940's there were three main socioeconomic classes; a tiny white rich upper class, a slightly larger, mostly European and Asian middle class, and a large black poor work force. In the fifties however, the middle class started to become more educated; with the professions usually reserved for the whites (doctors, lawyers etc) becoming more racially integrated...
