The Big Catch
It was a warm, breezy afternoon at the Oliver farm. White fluffy clouds gently floated carelessly from one end of the farm to the other. A couple of new born calves find for the first time how much fun running and jumping in an enclosed fenced area can really be. I can see father off in the distance working on a tractor that had just recently broken down for him while moving hay bales from one of the farms to our home here. It was just another summer day at the farm. I could feel the warm breeze flowing through my sleeveless shirt and holey jeans as my boney 14 year old body walked to complete my first chore of the day. Gunk was still left over in my eyes from my short night of sleep. I was excited for tonight's big fishing trip. Father had promised to take my brother and me fishing for the very first time.
