Focus Paper My earliest memories of my childhood is only throwing and catching a baseball at the age of 3 in a back yard at my house in beautiful sunny Burbank California. My dad and I used to play ball at the park right down the street everyday during my pop’s lunch break. When I was born my uncle picked up my left arm and said that I was going to be a lefty baseball player. One week later he died. My parents supported me 110 % the whole way through my childhood. Baseball is the only thing I love in life besides my family. Baseball always comes first to everything, besides family. If it wasn’t for baseball, I wouldn’t be going to college right now. My mommy is the biggest baseball fan ever. My mom actually knows more baseball than I do! One thing I love most about baseball is seeing that big smile on my moms face when she attends all my games. Seeing my mom happy is the most important thing ever and seeing her happy also makes me really happy. My parents told me one day that I used to sit down on the coach and watch recorded baseball games over and over again in my little dodger uniform when I was really little. My mom and dad have been going to all my games since tee-ball and still come to my college games now. Whenever I get on myself for being short and not big like the other players, my parents give me motivation and give me confidence in my self to work harder.
