Task 1 Chef Job description: Chefs are the people that prepare the food served in restaurant and prepare the menus for the food they make within cost. Education requirements: Preferably a high school diploma to start off but some professional schooling can enhance culinary skills and if not increase pay as a chef. Needed skills: Most likely math and a good eye to measure how much of something you add in a recipe or plan out dishes. Salary: Depends where you work really, an example was given from $13.50 to $23.00 an hour. Yearly pay: Most chefs can earn $40,000 to $100,000 a year. Hours: Depends on employer or restaurant, also eligible for overtime.
