Affirmative Action, Is it needed
Darling-Hammond believes that Affirmative action is still needed because society is unfair. She believes that all students should have the same equal rights to get an education. All opportunities for education should be equal. Darling-Hammond believes the problem that W.E.B. Du Bois stated for the 21st century, "The color line divided us still." That statement holds true till this day. Her belief is that of inequality for the minority races as it compares to the Caucasian race.
