Physicist
What Does The Occupation Involve?
The name of the occupation is simply the word physicist; it has no other name because it is such a well known occupation. Physicists attempt to explain why our physical environment behaves as it does. From Sir Isaac Newton to Albert Einstein to present day physicists, they have tried to unlock the secrets to our physical world. When it comes to space, time and matter, physicists marvel at these scientific phenomenon and are trained to solve problems and conduct experiments in this field. Physicists carry out theoretical and applied research to extend our knowledge of natural wonders, developing new processes and devices in fields such as electronics, communications, power generation and distribution, aerodynamics, optics and lasers, remote sensing, and medicine and health. Physicists generally work standard forty hour work weeks, with occasional overtime. The work for a physicist is continuous; they work every day, day after day. Physicists work in almost every kind of work environment as they are constantly working in different places, like factories, plants, and in laboratories.
