I got the coordinator's phone number of this project and got in touch with her, told her
I'm interested to become involved in the project. She sent a application to me, I filled it
in and sent it back. After that, I am being a volunteer of seven rivers regional medical center .
I am a teen volunteer of this project, I usually work with adults volunteer.
I contact with any patients, families, physicians or hospital staff members in a cheerful
and friendly attitude.
I moved to this country one and a half years ago from China, I really want to know the
American culture better and communicate with people more. That's why I came up
with the idea volunteering in the hospital. One side, I would love to support the
people in hospital and give the help to the community, on the other side, it also offered a
chance for me let me know this country better. So, I got in touch with the coordinator of
seven rivers regional medical center volunteer service. After that, I sent my application
in, then I started to work there...
