Report of Bill Clinton speech at the Democratic National Convention
On Monday 26, the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton talked to the delegates of the Democratic Party at the Democratic National Convention held in Boston, Massachusetts. I think this speech will be one of the most important speeches for the candidates of the Democratic Party. Since he had been one of the most eminent persons in politics and one of the most well informed persons about the nation, having served to the country for 8 years as a president and gained the support of many people. The reason his speech will be a great source to convince more people, is not only his influence on Americans, but how great his speech was. He showed confidence; through the power of his voice and eyes it was clear that he knew, understood, have no doubt about his position and issues he was talking about. His speech was very clear, there were no unnecessary words or information used to fill in the speech. Every point he made was clear and easy to understand. One of the things I liked the most was the connection he had with the audience. He talked about issues we all are concern about with a citizen's point of view. Like he said at the beginning: "My friends, after three conventions as a candidate or a president, tonight I come to you as a citizen, returning to the role that I have played for most of my life, as a foot soldier in our fight for the future, as we nominate in Boston a true England patriot for president...
