The use of technology in schools today is essential to the growth and learning of today's children. With society being so technology based, it is just as important that children learn how to use the Internet and different software packages, as it is to learn reading and writing.
I. Technology Operations and Concepts
I believe that I demonstrate introductory knowledge, skills, and understanding of concepts related to technology. I know how to operate a computer and how to connect to and navigate through the Internet. I also know how to use various software packages and how to incorporate them into lesson plans as I have in this class. Another thing that I have mastered is connecting the computer to a large television or projection screen to share information with the class.
I also believe I have demonstrated continual growth in technology knowledge and skills to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies. I have taken this class and learned how to use Microsoft Publisher along with a few different software packages for grading. In the future, to keep up with the rapidly growing pace of technology, I plan to enroll in classes at a local community college...
