Strengths
In this section we will look a little more closely at Proctor and Gamble's strengths or its large scale of operations, product innovation, and strong performance in its core categories.
Proctor and Gamble has a wide variety of products, meaning it has a large scale of operations. P&G makes nearly 300 products that are used in over 160 countries. It is able to reach a wide variety of customers and generate large cash flows.
P&G's product innovation includes creating more new brands and categories than any of its other competitors. During that last eight years, P&G has had either the number one or number two new non-food product in the US every year.
