"David vs. Goliath"
As I walked down that cold, dismal tunnel my body began to tingle. Not because I was excited, but because I was terrified. I kept trying to tell myself that it was just a game, but callous memories from a couple of months ago kept flashing through my mind.
"The undefeated Solvay Bearcats just trounced the Westhill Warriors fifty-two to seven. I guess we can all finally say this Westhill football team is blatantly overrated!"
Before the game began my coach came up to me and said,
"Mike we're all counting on ya." I thought I was going to faint on the spot. No on has ever said that to me before. I just nodded in comprehension...
