The digestive system carries out a whole series of physical and chemical transformations to break up food for their absorption from the intestinal system in blood. The digestive system is composed of a digestive tract (the food channel) and digestive glands. The structure of the digestive tract is composed of 5 parts. It comprent the mouth, the oesophagus, the stomach, the small intestine (small intestine) and the coln (large intestine).
At first, there is the mouth. The function of the mouth is to crush food into small pieces. In the mouth, we find the teeth. At the human ones, there are 32 teeth in all, from where there are 16 on the higher part and 16 on the lower part. There are four kinds of them: 4 incisors to cross, 2 canines poitues to tear, 4 premolars flattened to crush and chew and 6 molars flattened to crush and chew. The wisdom teeth are the last...
