A Lesson in Safety
One night, it was jet black dark, and my family and I were riding to our hotel after a swim meet. My mom was driving in her hunter green explorer. My parents were in the front seat, and then my sister, my brother, and I were in the back seat, in that order. It was here that I almost died.
I was about six years old, my sister was nine, and my brother was around twelve. I was a very small child; I was skin and bones with a height of about three feet, six inches. I thought my brother was a massive person, but for his age he was very small. My sister had such short hair that she was mistaken for a boy on more than one occasion.
It was then we pulled up to a red light. We looked around we saw our coach behind us, we got very excited...
