  For years, People everywhere have been discriminating against women in the workforce. We are in the 21st century now and that still hasn't been put to a stop yet, the percentage lowered but there's still gender inequality in the workforce. Men everywhere has predominately held the most rewarding and demanding jobs in the workforce. "In 1950, women composed 30 percent of the workforce. Over 50 years later, this number has increased to 47 percent."(Internet source: http://www.uaw.org) I believe working women are an increasingly vital component of our society, becoming more essential to our economy's health. Even within female-dominated occupations, women generally earn less than men. That is very unfair to women and I think the government needs to do something about it...
