... Today, if a company needs information on a certain person within the company, an employee directory is usually the first place they go looking for the information, something that takes just seconds to find the answers one needs.
The employee directory I designed would be of great benefit to a company. The directory I established would be on the Intranet and Extranet so that employees of the company as well as clients outside of the company could look up and get in contact with an employee if needed. Although open through the Intranet and Extranet, it would be protected by a password so that everyone that has access to the directory would be given one for security reasons. ... Someone from another company who needed access to the employee directory would be allowed to enter their guest user name and the password assigned to them by the administrator. ... The only users to see something differently then anyone else would be the managers and the administrator of the directory. Other information that will be stored to benefit the mangers of the company would be employee contacts outside of work such as home phone numbers and addresses.
