This essay has two purposes. First, it provides a practical plan of improving both Tao-YiJun and ZhangMei's skills of how to use English. The next paragraph says the possible goals and practical methods of learning English.
1. Listening
I would listen to the news "Live up in Shanghai" of Shanghai People Broadcasting Station rather than watch CCTV's English programs everyday. And I have a suggestion, which is choosing a piece of news to discuss while meeting every week. The exact meeting date needs another round of discussion. Maybe every Thursday is a good day.
