Nicholas Sparks is well-known for his romanticism. Though he grew up in a poor family, by 1996 he was famous and wealthy with the publication of the romantic novel, The Notebook. Since then, many more of his literary works have been published. Through Sparks' adversities with his adolescence, family sicknesses, and other jobs, he has emerged as an excellent writer with an amazing writing career.
Nicholas Sparks had a typical childhood. He was born on December 31, 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska (Sparks A 511). Though his family was relatively poor, his father was insistent that the finest obstetrician in Omaha would deliver Sparks (Sparks B 1). He was the second son of Patrick Michael and Jill Emma Marie Sparks. A year after Sparks was born, his parents gave birth to a daughter named Danielle (Sparks C 1).
