For years world hunger has been a very serious issue. Thousands and thousands of people in third world countries, die of starvation and hunger each year. On the other hand people in North America and Europe want to improve the quality of their food. Over years, scientists have come out with ways to genetically modify the DNA of foods, fruits, vegetables and meat products to reproduce or improve them at incredibly fast speed. This means that scientists can genetically make tomatoes 20 times bigger than what they should be for a fraction of the cost of growing 20 tomatoes. This is a great improvement in the field of science andtechnology and will surely speed up the reproduction of food. However G.M food is not the solution to world hunger. Although it will reduce the world hunger rates incredibly fast, the future consequences will be way greater than the present gains.
